Our 8-week beginner’s course on bicycle ownership wherein students choose bikes from our inventory, learn repair and maintenance skills, and learn safe riding practices!

As an annually occurring formalized class and workshop series, Wrench & Ride lets us pass on bicycle maintenance and riding skills to students while taking the necessary time to cover some of the more advanced topics. The class culminates in a group ride celebrating all we’ve learned together, and upon completion all students get to keep their bike, a pair of lights, a lock, and a helmet. In staying committed to offering bicycle education to those who need it most, our Wrench & Ride cohorts are typically available to either youth (ages 13–18) or seniors (ages 55+).

Wrench & Ride is held in partnership with our sister organization, Santa Ana Active Streets.

Wrench and Ride is only possible with external funding. Want to donate or sponsor a future Wrench and Ride?
